Welcome to IRIS, the premier 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration among medical students worldwide.
Our mission: Creating partnerships between academic hospitals domestic and abroad, to establish exchange programs for medical students.
What We Offer
IRIS Scholarship
Medical students—both from the U.S. and abroad—who are accepted into sub-internship or clinical exchange programs at U.S. medical schools will be eligible to apply for this scholarship. The program is intended to enrich the exchange experience by providing financial support, enabling students to focus on building mentorship relationships and securing strong letters of recommendation.
Research Grants
Offering funding for innovative research projects that align with IRIS’s goals of improving medical practices, health outcomes, and global health equity.
Mentorship Programs
Senior medical students are paired with junior medical students with efforts to guide them through the research process and helping them develop their projects.
Workshops & Seminars
Hosting educational workshops and seminars on various medical and health-related topics, providing continuing education opportunities for healthcare professionals.
