IRIS Scholarship

If you are a current medical student who has been accepted to present at a research conference, you are eligible to apply for the IRIS Scholarship using the link below.

At this time, we are not accepting applications from students in other healthcare professions (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, public health). We recognize the value of interdisciplinary contributions and are actively working to expand our funding to support students in these fields in the near future.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled as a medical student (MD, MBBS, DO, or equivalent).
• Have submitted or been accepted to present a research abstract at an academic or professional conference.
• Be able to provide documentation of abstract submission or acceptance.
• Demonstrate a clear purpose for attending the conference and how it will benefit your academic or professional development.
• Submit a complete application, including:
  • • Personal and institutional information
  • • Statement of purpose (motivation, career relevance, and plans for dissemination)
  • • Estimated budget and funding needs
  • • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • • Abstract submission/acceptance letter
  • • (Optional) Letter of recommendation from a mentor or supervisor
